Do not know if pic is real or not, but these cats have roamed the mountain going to Huntsville all the way down to Cleave Terrel Hill for as long as I can remember.

IIRC one turned up on a game camera on the outskirts of Lafayette a few years ago. If they can be there they can be pretty much anywhere.

Pretty sure they can, but it probably doesn't happen very often.

How many attacks have there been documented in AL or TN? If they were here, someone would have been attacked by now.
They are not here.
They are not here.

There is one in the woods behind our house in South Central Tennessee. We have only seen it twice in as many years. He leaves livestock and pets alone. Seems to prefer rabbits.

My wife’s grandfather swore he saw them in Scottsboro area of northeast AL. He was a very quiet, humble and serious WWII Purple Heart vet, so I had no reason to doubt him.

I had a game warden I have known my entire life tell me he saw one here in south Alabama. He is 100% an honest man. He reported it to the head guys in Montgomery and they laughed him off.

There are so many cats around my parts and they're spotted on game cams constantly yet no one is attacked.
Attacks are rare.

There are trail cams all over the Deep South. You won’t find mountain lions on any of them other than Florida, unless you’re west of the Mississippi River.

Yep, otherwise we would have seen them on the OB.
Lots of talk of sightings but no pics.

Here are confirmed sightings in Tennessee
LINK
If there have been sightings in Tennessee it's not a huge stretch to believe some may have roamed as far as North Alabama.
