Christmas songs generally suck because the topic limits creativity.

The best ones are by artists that make you forget they're Christmas songs by putting their usual themes into the song.

Such as Step Into Christmas by Elton John or Little Saint Nick by the Beach Boys.

Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You

Underrated

Otis Redding - Merry Christmas Baby

Same song as above but totally different feel. Both are awesome.
Merry Christmas Baby - Charles Brown

Such a talent. Such a great 70's sounding Christmas song.
Donny Hathaway - This Christmas

And my personal favorite. Has a great warm feel.
