Was is the key word. It's no longer affiliated with Motiva. Strictly Shell now.

Correct. I was stating that it’s still referred to as Motiva (see title) within the community.

You can see more and more of the ground near the bridge, as if a very large flare is burning. Looks almost like daylight.

I’m in St. Amant and it was fricking creepy. I thought a transformer or something blew. Sounded like a loud humming and lightning

Plants flaring and shut down.

If all safety processes hold should be safe and Entergy shut down.

Main transformer electrical fire is what caused it.


This coming from a direct memeber of family that is a Hazmat director of emergency here in Louisiana.

Yea that's a dangerous plant. The had a stretch there where they had a bunch of issues in a row including a fire a few years ago.
