Make certain you write it like that. I just got a PM for the alternate spelling.

Yeah. That was I think only my second PM in the last 5 years or so. Not two bannings in five years -- two PMs. I'm so proud of myself I'm about to burst.

At least one irony in all this. I've probably used that spelling maybe three times in my entire TD history. I wonder if anyone else is getting warned over it?

Ah he committed murder because he was really a victim. Got it.
I see nothing wrong with the aunts post. She is saying her nephew is at fault for the death of all involved, but he himself suffered from mental issues

I think that seems both true, and that’s pretty much owning up to it for a family member

It's a futile effort to police syntax. The semantics will remain with whatever replacement phrase evolves to be 'acceptable speech'.

Haven't read this thread. Did Trudy's son have a rap sheet?

Is Trudy a good mother, or does she milk the system? Was this her only child, or does she have others? Is the "father" torn up about this as well? Lastly, is there a remote chance that what Trudy is saying, is true?

However, now it will swing back to being able to point fingers at someone else again. They’ll use the argument he never should have been allowed to have a gun because of his mental issues so it’s not his or our fault.

So the mom and aunt both suggest he had anger control issues, "big time" as his aunt describes and they both knew he had a gun.
Was there any concern or actions on their part that this young man with "big time anger control issues" was going to get himself in trouble carrying a gun? It was just a matter of time.

I think there is some overzealous mod
.
My last ban Came from calling AOC a See you next Tuesday and using umlauts to override the censor. I’ve done it countless times but this time...

Banhammer.

I also got a PM from using Dindus before
And “sneaker enthusiasts”

And “non-swimmers” when literally talking about people that couldn’t swim.

That is an extremely well written response by the aunt. Almost too well. Does not even sound like an internet post

It doesn’t look like it. At least in Orleans.

And was allowed to legally own a gun. That's the problem right there.

Why can't certain people own up for their actions? Always wanting to blame things that happen on others.

Geez, have some damn responsibility for your actions.

Perpetual victimhood strikes again.

It feels like things have been a little different on here since the election and subsequent fallout

Just a hunch, obviously, but there seems to be a line in the sand being drawn to keep this place from going on some kind of watchlist

That's the question. Still, every Tom, Dick and Harry is clearly NOT mentally fit enough to own a gun. Personally, I'd prefer to err on the side of caution.
