Great job by the DCFS here

How does this even happen ?

Ard said around 7 a.m. June 26, she woke up to find the toddler "cold to the touch, unresponsive, with his fingertips, mouth, and tongue blue in color," the report says.
The child was taken outside the home and a friend of Ard's administered CPR until an ambulance came.
On Aug. 2, the coroner determined the child's death was caused by a fentanyl overdose. The report said the child had 14 ng/mL of fentanyl in his blood.

April 12, the child was taken to the emergency room "unresponsive, with altered mental status and respiratory failure," deputies said. The child was treated with Narcan and released four days later. Medical professionals said they did multiple scans, but found no evidence of the baby having seizures.
June 4, the 2-year-old was taken to the emergency room "with an episode of unresponsiveness," and treated with Narcan.

It’s unfathomable how many children have died because of DCFS’s negligence.

During an interview, the 2-year-old's older sister told investigators she "has seen a lot of pills on her mother's bed, and her brother 'ate mom's pills.'"
quote:
The WBRZ Investigative Unit has learned the Department of Children and Family Services did not remove the child from the care of the mother after the two hospital visits where the child had to be resuscitated with Narcan or after the mother's arrest following an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's investigation into her house being used as a drug den.
The “mother” & DCFS case worker both need bullets in their heads

This should never happen. Talk about a total collapse of a system. But not shocking at all.

The answer for mom and the state is the same, willful negligence.

Who cared for the children during her jail time earlier this year?
Where is their Father?
Where is their Father?

Maybe Nak can quit sucking his own dick over the Hammond stat rape case and take a look into this one?

Releasing the child into custody after the first time was the real crime. The agency will not be held accountable.

Hope that bitch gets tortured and dies a horrible painful death.

our entire American “government” is a facade
Politicians aren’t “servants”, they are egotistical maniacs who want to enrich themselves and their families
Public schools don’t educate children
Homeland Security doesn’t secure our homeland at all
Does Border Patrol protect our border?
Prosecutors don’t prosecute crimes, they let criminals free by reducing charges
The VA doesn’t help Veterans
Child Protective Services doesn’t protect children, it puts them back into horrible situations

And millions rely on the government to take care of them.

Last time I worked with that sort of thing, DCFS was 6 months behind on cases/investigations - and that was a few years pre-Covid
That department needs an awakening

This poor child. Narcan should be readily available EVERYWHERE.

I wonder if adding more unwanted babies will help prevent these kind of situations...

Very similar death occured here in NKY last year. Two-year-old got into his mother’s purse as she lay drugged out on her bed. Little boy died before she woke up.
She was charged with murder and is serving a life sentence. She should have gotten the gurney. So should the “mother” in this thread.

That's adorable you assume either of this chick's kids were abortion candidates. The truth is people like that don't get abortions. The abortion topic is the most over-played argument in front of us. I'm a simple guy, but common sense tells me that the so-called poor and minority women of this country will not be affected at all from the over-turning of Roe, they are the ones multiplying. The private school upper-class socialite is who truly will be affected.

I would love to know the steps it takes to get your kids taken away because if this case isn’t it, then wtf is?
I sincerely hope this is the last straw for DCFS and a major overhaul is in the works.
