Although it may be sort of juvenile, i still cherish every buckle, saddle, spurs, awards, hell…even my old rodeo numbers i pinned on my back from high school rodeos are kept in a box in my attic. I worked hard for them and beat out some very good cowboys to win them. Every award is one of a kind and their mine. Not many can claim that fame and I’m still proud of them some 25 years later. If i could Do it all over again, in spite of the lingering injuries that still persist. It was worth it.

Coin collection I inherited. Pennies from late 1800s through 1967. During WW2 for 3 years they are not copper.
Autographed bob Hope book about golf titled “My life as a hooker”. Pretty good read.
Have a book called “The Bear” autographed by Bear Bryant. He did a signing in college station in mid 70s and my dad got one.
Have a ton of letters, envelopes, etc… from mid 30s to early 40s from Germany. Nazi stamps on everything.
None of this stuff is high monetary value.

that and that's probably a PSA 6 at best - that thing is worthless. If you paid me $10 I'd take that thing and throw in the trash for you.

You only could submit them at the $100 or $200 submission tier, which had quick turnaround.
Back in 2020, they still had their bulk submission tier open, and they are still working through that backlog. Plus these have to go through the PSA/DNA process which is longer

Did you buy this in the French Quarter? I was eyeing a memorabilia piece that was signed by everyone, I just couldn’t fork up the money at the time.
No, I didn't buy them from dealers. I don't have them on one piece; they are either 8x10 portraits, first day covers, books, and in one case (Armstrong), a 3x5 card. I got most of them in the early to mid-90's when they signed freely through the mail, or for a very small fee (around the $10-$15 mark). I did get Charlie Duke's autograph in person. This is before the space memorabilia market went nuts. These are just the cornerstone of the collection. I've gotten around 250 signatures of astronauts, cosmonauts, aviators, and NASA personnel like flight directors, etc.

My dad was coaching at LSU and got some intel on when and what room Bama was having a team meeting in at the old Belmont hotel. So back in the late 70s. I was waiting outside the door with one of those small spiral notebooks. Out walked Bear Bryant so I got his autograph, then Tony Nathan, Jeff Rutledge, Ozzie Newsome and a few others. Still have them.

Sugar Bowl Stop Watch given to my grandfather after TCU beat LSU 3-2 in 1935 ('36?). I was told that it predated rings. FYI- grandfather left LSU the year before and transferred to TCU.
