I did a lot of contract work in NYC years ago, so I took Amtrak to Hartford and watched LSU play UConn (hoops) there in 2006, and watched the 2007 NC game (LSU vs Ohio St) at the ESPN Zone in Times Square.
Watched several football games from hotel rooms and hotel bars across the country. For some reason I remember watching 2006 LSU at Auburn from a Courtyard in Arlington Heights, IL.
Listened to Super Bowl XL in a rental car driving from Cincinnati to Louisville, and got to watch the 4th quarter at the Residence Inn there.

Was at my ex's parents house during the 2013 Iron Bowl. Was there to meet them. Her dad was a Bama fan. I was already nervous meeting the guy. Chris Davis kicked six, and he turned his head towards me. I thought he was going to beat my arse.
He just said, "We'll talk later, I need another beer."

That's the moment you should have looked him right in the eye and told him he should be happy you're plowing his little girl instead of her brother.
