Middendorf's ... I just don't see the attraction. Drive an hour or so from Baton Rouge and get food that doesn't taste as good as I could get 7 min from my house.

But everyone and their grandpa always talks about how good it is. To each his own, I guess.

Hattie B’s has good sides but their chicken sucks. It’s only popular because of its location. I can get much better hot chicken in half the time.

ACME, feel like I'm walking into an Applebee's or Chili's whenever I go there.

How are you going to be a burger place with no fries?

Superior grill. Atmosphere is great, food isn’t bad, it’s just average and overpriced. Margaritas are good but again, overpriced. Basically you’re paying for the live music.

Varsity in Georgia...

It's not terrible, but it's just a dog/burger.

I've been to 3 locations before anyone asks.

It reminds me of Bourbon Street. It keeps the tourists away from my favorite spots.

Meh, I could see how the Mulattes, Bubba Gump, and Court of Two Sisters crowd would think that.

That place is great. It's just overpriced and a hassle to get a table.

Most people outside Da Parish have never heard of it. But it's pretty solid.
