Steaks are damn good, but I’ve had just as good of steak for about half the price. Sides are good but not for how much they charge.

Prince's. Inconsistent and hot just for the sake of it. Thanks for the culinary masterpiece Nashville .

Rum house has a nice happy hour, so I dig it

Superior has killer margs and great food, but pricey for mexican. Still good tho

Georges is fricking amazing. I'd eat nearly anything on that menu

Julia's Mexican place in alexandria. Dog food is probably better than their shitty Mexican food, but somehow it stays open and is packed on thurs and fri night

I don't know if Superior is "overrated". I think people know exactly what you're going to get. It's more about the atmosphere and people that go there than the food.

Plus, they'd let you use the bathrooms on Mardi Gras which was super clutch

This x1000. I hate that GD place and everyone in BR always wants to go eat their shitty food.

And I'll add Ruth's Chris & Bobs to that list. F it, add Ruffinos to the list too. Shithole.

Middendorf's ... I just don't see the attraction. Drive an hour or so from Baton Rouge and get food that doesn't taste as good as I could get 7 min from my house. But everyone and their grandpa always talks about how good it is. To each his own, I guess.

Agree

Thin fried catfish? Bunch of BS. It's cut so thin that it's deep fried batter that tastes like fish. Such a scam. They can take a filet and make four pieces out of it because it's sliced so thin.

Give me a thick catfish filet any day.

I will concede the fact there are better burgers out there.
But ground Patti is a fond memory of mine from Covington to Sherwood to Lafayette.
They were five guys with shitty stained glass lamps before everyone wanted to add sauteed kale and fried egg on every fricking dish.
Sorry for being defensive.
If you wish to fight me I'll be at Cuban liquor

And to answer you kige.
There is a pizza place in Paducah that is raved about.
I went. It sucked.
I'm pretty sure it's just a front for selling the devils lettuce
