I love how they have surgeons on that list. Any of the medical fields listed on that list are certainly not overpaid.
Most of the medical professionals are overpaid. This includes especially the medical administrators.

I had to lend some money to a lawyer a couple of years ago that was handling a small claims type of dispute for me. I knew I'd never see it paid back.

5 of the 8 people you listed perform important tasks that require skill. Why are they overpaid?

Athletes--there is no dispute.
People go to games and pay high ticket prices, high tv contracts in place, very small percentage of the world can do what they do at a high level.
I would say you can dispute this.

Yep.
All of them except specialists and surgeons IMO.
The fact that the Urgent Care prick that gives out Z-Pack like Halloween candy makes $180k is ridiculous.
Any nurse could do that job and probably with a better smile.

While lawyers may suck and real estate agents may manage to make lots of money with little effort, pharmacists win.
Many realtors do not. They often spend tons of time on certain potential buyers and end up with nothing to show for it (as many/most agents are straight commission).
And when the market tanked, it washed out thousands of realtors because at first stuff wasn't moving, and then the stuff that did move was at such a low price there wasn't really anything coming in terms of the commission.

he's a nice guy, just not a good attorney, the only reason I called him was my attorney told me he would have to charge to much to make it worth my while and the other guy needed some work, I found out why
