Don't mind I-49 there are some rolling hills and wooded areas.

Then, there's French Market Express in Natchitoches. How that can be boring, I don't know. Whenever we head up that way running from storms we stop on the way up and on the way home.

49 from Shreveport to Alexandria is the most boring stretch of interstate maybe ever.

He said I-59 between Meridian and Birmingham which is all I-20. Parts of that drive are scenic but there isn't shite between Meridian and Tuscaloosa.

Lake Charles to Lafayette is probably the most boring stretch of highway I have driven on. At least 49 has some hills.

ETA how are people using gas stations as a way of saying a highway is less boring? You don’t need to stop at one that often.

49 from Alec to Shreveport. I get what you saying about all the way down to Opelousas, but at least Alec breaks it up.

49 north of Shreveport to the Arkansas border. There’s nothing out there. It’s also the easiest stretch of interstate in this state.

No, its not...its I-59

quote:

Interstate 59 (I-59) is an Interstate Highway located in the southeastern United States. It is a north–south route that spans 445.23 miles (716.53 km) from a junction with I-10 and I-12 at Slidell, Louisiana to a junction with I-24 near Wildwood, Georgia.

quote:

Just west of Meridian, I-20 joins I-59 and these two highways continue together for 145 miles (233 km), across the border with Alabama to and through Birmingham. The exit numbers are given as those of I-59.

Guess you know more than Google maps. When I have driven on it 6 times per year for the past 15 years it says I-20 right before Meridian and all the way to Birmingham
