Worst is Lafayette to Lake Charles. The road is a literal straight line through sugar cane fields. Jennings, Welsh, and Lacassine are all boring af places.
I think the coolest stretch of interstate is either Slidell to New Orleans over Lake Pontchartrain or LaPlace to Kenner over the marsh with the lake to the side. Very unique views.

Hey man, I’m just setting the record. I even posted an actual pic of a real HWY sign. Not sure what else to tell you brother man.

Easy boys, pretty sure that from Meridian to Birmingham 20/59 are the same interstate. Splits south in Meridian and north in Bham.

Not in Louisiana but 59 between slidell and meridian. Sometimes you don't see another car for miles.

My hunting camp is 30 miles off the forest hill exit. It’s a town called hineston it’s southwest of Alexandria. It has a gas station & a dollar general. The it’s 45-50 min to Alexandria. Again how do people live up there is beyond me.

I-49, easily
I don't mind that drive, I-49 is still a relatively "new" stretch of interstate and it was built fairly west of some pretty small towns that don't exactly have booming economies, that's probably why not a lot has developed towards it

49 from Shreveport I-49 Shreveport to Alexandria ain't exactly the scenic route, either.
So flat land and rice fields are scenic (LC to Laf) while rolling hills and trees are ugly

You must not know much a lot about agriculture. There’s no cane fields between Lafayette and LC. That would be rice and crawfish fields. there might be a few near Lacissine but generally it’s rice. Between Laf and BR there’s nothing but cane fields though

Sicilly Island to Ferriday

I-49 from Opelousas up or all of I-20

I like that stretch of I-10 between LC and Lafayette in the fall when the geese and ducks are migrating south. Just cool to watch those big V formations flying overhead.

49 from Shreveport to Opelousas. There’s very few places to stop for gas and food.

EDDIES! Yes. They had a Lafayette location and I went all the time then they went out of business because Lafayette’s restaurant scene is so competitive and apparently those people don’t like real BBQ

Yeah but Birmingham to Tennessee makes up for it.
