I ride a motorcycle and always head to the mountains when wanting to really ride. It can be as close as the Ozarks, Smokey's or as far as the Rockies and when folks ask me about La., I tell them, "The lands so flat I can watch my dog run away for 3 days."

Riding in La. is pretty much boring as hell when on the interstates.

As someone who drives a lot, I like boring. The alternative is dealing with stupid arseholes and heavy traffic. And wrecks and delays. Fack "interesting" driving.

I’ve done I-10 Lafayette to Baton Rouge so many times I could drive it with my eyes closed.

Louisiana Avenue Exit - Breaux Bridge Exit - Henderson Exit - Butte La Rose Exit - Tiger Truck Stop - Port Allen Exit - New Bridge (Baton Rouge)

Zzzzzzzz

I-20 Monroe to Mississippi is the most boring.

I-10 all the way through Florida is pretty boring. I'm not sure if there is even a hill on the whole stretch that rises more than 5 feet.

Once you get through Pensacola it is awesome. Just go to cruise control and listen to a book. And you are totally wrong about the hills.

Do people have such short attention spans now that they want drama on the drive???? Fack that.

I’ll take boring on 49 over life-threatening on 12 or 10(BR) any day

Definitely Opelousas to Shreveport, but it's also the best interstate so you have that

This is the best answer.

Louisiana isn't the most exciting scenery in the world but I don't drive it often enough to be bored with it. I like wondering about people whose world is centered around these places that I blow through without really thinking about it much. I am from one of those places in Arkansas.

I-59 between Meridian and Birmingham is the worst.

When my wife was at LSUMC-S, I used to make that drive up I 49, 4 times a month for almost 2 years. I’ve driven every major interstate from state line to state line in Louisiana and nothing is as bad as the stretch between Ole Piece of Loose arse and Shevepit.

That's I-20 anyway. My wife is from Birmingham so I drive it often. It's been under construction the whole 15 years I've known her though
