I didn’t take a pic near LSU but I walked on the levee today near downtown. The water is now over the Baton Rouge sign on the levee.

That all goes north. See the bump out where the road is ID'ed as 29 near the bottom of the graphic? Right about there it starts heading north and below that goes south.

I used to live not far from there.

I walked it yesterday. Lots of freeboard on the levee.

That water is damned cold.

It's still in the 40s even this far south. It'll be a fog maker for those in proximity to the river.

This isn't the main crest. That'll be in April or May when all the snow melts up north.
