It shouldn’t be news to you that Nashville pop music is vapid bullshite. It’s a group of writers writing the top 10 hit songs every week. They need a face and a performer to get the songs they’ve written out to the masses. It’s a soulless product they’re selling but it works.

I don't disagree, but he needs to break out his thesaurus. Otherwise he just comes off as just your run of the mill RS review reader who thinks it's edgy to use the word "vapid".
"Dull" or "lacking" are two of many possibilities so he's not repeating himself.
