Is Shapiro really considered a “Trump supporter”

He has been more than a little criticism of the president

Yes, anyone who disagrees with the left and/or the mainstream liberal narrative regarding race, COVID, secure elections etc... you're a automatically a "Trump supporter."

Sort of to your point: I can think of some examples of the media being told to keep quiet about matters regarding the Left:

Hunter Biden
Joe Biden’s health and gaffs
Kamala’s career
Kamala’s accusations against Biden
BLM/Antifa violence this year
The hypocrisy of mass protests and COVID spread

It’s ok to not like trump personally, or disagree with his policies. However, some of the things you cite is just flat untrue.

To me it’s much harder to be caught in an echo chamber as a conservative vs a liberal. Yeah, there are plenty of echo chamber conservatives, but as a percentage I think it’s much less compared to left. The left has their views reinforced by social media, academia, companies, media, Hollywood, whereas the right... ????

I would advise you at least listen to a few principled conservative arguments just so you can hone your own understanding. Not Rush Limbaugh, or brietbart, but maybe the WSJ editorial page, Shapiro or something similar.

I voted for Bush, twice. I'm a left-leaning centrist who is considered a straight up commie because of the insolence of this board.

What Bush policies pushed you to vote for him? Please be specific.

You don't solve the problem of crony capitalism by bringing in "better" increased government control. Because it's never actually better.

never claimed such

but to pretend that a lot of these industries are purely free market is pretty dishonest, which was my point

would you quit TD if a mod told you to shut up about a particular topic?

Maybe. Depends on the topic and how important it was to me. If I was on the sports board talking shite on LSU about how they cheated in a game or alleging recruiting violations or paying players to go to LSU and the mods banned me, not sure it matters so much. Even with proof of those things clearly available as evidence to anyone who cares to look for it.

Elections, election fraud, and a large-scale concerted effort of the largest media outlets and monopolistic companies who control what news Americans get and/or the channels of communication available to most people? That's a much bigger issue. People around the world go to war over such issues.

Jesus Christ. You don’t even know what Shapiro says and just go straight to lies and propaganda. You are an intolerant ideologue.

1) People don't really understand how much Trump is hated. Trump has caused liberals who I usually have no issue with, to become completely ate up with TDS. TDS is a real thing. In fact, with Trump going away, I'm really curious to see if these liberals calm the hell down and return to the same demeanor they had before Trump.

2) It's becoming more clear now that Trump won because so many Democrats hate Hillary. Many of those same Democrats hate Biden, but they realized they hate Trump even more. So, their insane hatred of Trump caused them to hold their nose and vote for Biden.

3) The suburban soccer moms really, really, really hate Trump. These are people who have pretty conservative values, but care about how people act more than they care about political issues. They turned on Trump in 2020 in a big way.

All of this comes back to what actually rules the day in 2020/21, feelings and emotions. Donald Trump could have shite gold and pissed the cure for Covid and those people would have still hated him because a majority of Americans are driven by feelings and emotions and lack any logic or reasoning skills. It is a sad state.

Right. Some of the most prosperous years in this countries history, and our resident "centrist" has the worst years of his life simply because who was President.

That's just pathetic.

Unless the president passed some kind of law that severely impacted your life, you need to stop following politics if it has that kind of impact on your personal life
