I listened to Shapiro for the first time in a while yesterday and he most definitely isn't pushing the stolen election narrative.

Most of my friends lean left as I do. But I have republican friends. We haven't been seeing each other as regularly as before, thanks rona, but we text and talk some. Nobody (who is reasonable) believes it was stolen. Plenty, myself included, believe Democrats exploited the rona to their advantage.

That's not stealing.

I, of course, have biases.

Do you claim to be above that?

Of course I have biases. But I don't think scoffing at the idea that Biden getting 80 million real votes with his track record and his campaign strategy is unreasonable.

Scoffing versus full on it was stolen temper tantrum is different.

I know loads of people who find it hard to believe he got 80 million votes. but those same people don't claim it was stolen and wanted overturned.

they have instead chosen to look inward and see what their party did wrong. And guess what? They find plenty of evidence that the GOP just didn't run a good campaign. What you call an advantage, packed out unmasked rallies, many saw as a mistake.

I hope none of them have a radio show on a Cumulus-owned station.

You said I must live in an echo chamber.

I'm just trying to say there's a difference between whining crying complaining stolen versus legitimate conversation between reasonable people.

If there was no reason to be concerned about a particular issue, why force people to shut up about it?

They weren't spreading racism, hate, or even endorsing riots. They were discussing irregularities in the election.

I guess by allowing all the crap and questioning of election the media did over 4 years without these same concerns they are admitting that they knew it was all bullshite.

You really can't call this censorship unless the government is directly doing it.

Why is this good?

Other than you’re triggered by anyone with an opposing view and you think this will prevent you from having to hear anything you don’t like.

Stop saying its "censorship", You make it sound like its an attack on free speech.

Companies are making a decision on who they want to make available on their platform. Its just like getting banned from this site. They have a right to ban people for whatever they want.

Those people can find other platforms. Like Alex Jones. He is banned for all the platforms, but you know what? If you want to listen to him he has a website, infowars.com.

Were we all being censored before social media existed?

It does. Fox did it for years and it was ignored. Now, Fox is mean.
