Did it for two months in my Jeep last summer in the Southwest. Enjoyed it.
- fridge, two burner stove, foam mattress, fan, power station, Bluetooth speaker and chair, lots of water storage, portable shower
- had cereal/fruit every morning, sandwich for lunch, hot meal for dinner
- joined Anytime Fitness and already Y member, so my options for showers was good
- libraries are great resources
- there are apps to help you find water sources (free), free parking, showers, etc.
- travelled 12,000 miles, 8 Natl Parks, hiked, biked, fished in 6 states
- you can get used to anything

To the OP, this does happen more and more each day. There are lots of people just getting by. There are others doing this and thriving. You see this out West frequently.

A lot of middle class men end up living out of their car after getting divorce raped & having to pay insane amounts of child support & alimony.
Funny how if a man can't afford sky high child support he goes to prison.
If a single mom slut can't support her children she gets welfare & section 8

The main reason the woman winds up on public assistance is because the male in question is only a male and not a man....a man provides financially and emotionally for his children, male humans will refuse to do so and should be imprisoned for it

I personally know someone doing this...the guy I know lives in a 2020 Ford Explorer. He works a full time job and actually makes decent money.

I have been to Cambodia (second time,) Costa RIca, a month in the NW, and a month in the SW all in the last year. I am about to leave on another month long road trip, living in your vehicle isn't that bad if you have charging devices, you charge them up as you are driving.

Bottom line don't judge.

I had an older dude tell me this when I was working construction during the summer my last year at LSU, he felt he was worldly and had seen things that I would never have the opportunity to see or do, because he worked offshore for Brown & Root I still run into him at the occaisonal funeral and that sage statement comes to mind

Live in an suv? No way but a decent little used van, sure I could probably do that as a single man.

Have a setup to cook and even a toilet/shower.

Get off of work, go “home” to eat then a little disc golf. Or TopGoof or what ever other hobbies you want.

Head back home and watch a little Internet and go to sleep. Pocket all they money and retire at 45.

It is pretty ridiculous. Why have so many of the same plant on such a small balcony.

And based on the sun on the ground, I question if any man would have his TV on that wall and risk a significant glare without having better shades.

Do you live in your car or something? Seems like a weird flex in response to that comment.
