If you had to choose to move to one or the other, which one and why?

Neither

Stay on the North side of Monroe.
Smaller town.
But less to do

Baton Rouge
Bigger city more to do

Just depends what type person you, what job will you be doing. Family no family

Do you have a terminal illness and you are trying to maximize your time (considering time stands still in those places)?

If yes then add Alexandria and Lake Chuck and just pick one.

Unless you have family in Monroe, it’s going to suck. BR is terrible in its own right, but you have access to I-10 which can get you to NOLA or to the beach quickly.

I live in Jackson, MS. I’m sure either would be an improvement.

You a Republican? - Monroe. Democrat - I dont care.
Especially if you mean Ouachita Parish and not just Monroe proper.

He didn’t even say West Monroe so anyone saying “Monroe” is either trolling or has never been there. Even if he included West Monroe the answer is still Baton Rouge by a factor of 100.

Live on Bayou Desiard or the Garden District in Monroe. Or commute from Ruston.
