I lose time after just a couple beers these days. Won't be totally blacked out, but I'll forget a conversation or two during the night even though I didn't get drunk and feel fine the next morning. It sucks.

fwiw, that kind of shite is fun on rare occasions...but pretty quickly, you will find yourself losing friends over it. regardless of what they say, people don't put up with that shite for very long.

I used to binge drink but got tired of it and now can't imagine ever being drunk again.

Dude, if you have blacked out a "few times" lately, try drinking one or 2 , then stopping for the evening. If you cannot stop you after a couple and continue drinking, you may want to look at getting some help. On the low side you may lose some friends, one the other side your drinking could cost you serious financial or jail time. Good luck..
