I’m stupid from thinking it’s a little ridiculous to think a 45 person sample
Is meaningful?
A 45/45 person robust binding antibody and neutralizing antibody result is as meaningful as a Phase I trial can possibly be.
Don't be obtuse.
From an efficacy standpoint, it's a homerun. It couldn't realistically be any better.

The sword is cut in phase 3. I absolutely pray this is successful, but there is still pretty much the entire mountain left to climb. We have merely found our Sherpa to help us up the mountain potentially

Sure, but like I said, it's as promising as it could possibly be. Context is important, but rocket31 saying it's no different than giving people skittles is ridiculous.

ETA - am my stupid comment was directed at him, not you.

Which just happens to be the vaccine that Fauci is involved with. Shocker, but I don’t give a shite if it gets our lives back to normal I’m good with it.
Pfizer’s and several others will be in Phase 3 shortly as well.

So every other vaccine in the history of science has taken a decade or more to create and test and they come up with one in a few months. I am not buying it OR taking it. Something is not right with this.
Posted on 7/14/20 at 8:21 pm to armsdealer
Well I'm surely not going to take it bc I am healthy and not at risk. All the fat and sick people should take it so they can stop dragging down the rest of society.

How many times in modern society has the entire world been effectively shut down because of a virus? Not only is this vaccine going to potentially save hundreds of thousands of lives, it's going to make some people very rich. All of the best and brightest are working on one thing right now. Of course it's going to happen faster.
Posted on 7/14/20 at 10:23 pm to Fun Bunch
Govn't will already have our country in ruins by the time a vaccine is approved.

Messenger RNA vaccines. The beauty of mRNA is how widespread it can be used with minor tweaks.
There is not suspicious about it.

1-2 yrs away but good news if true
Pfizer will have emergency approval next month and Moderna will have emergency approval in November. That is 3-4 months after this thread.
The director of the CDC said enough people will have immunity by July to return to normality. That would mean enough vaccine for all Americans to have a second dose by the end of May.

1. Uninformed
2. Opinionated about topics he doesn’t know
3. Can’t count to 6
Life is going to be tough if it isn’t already.
