Building a new bridge over the Mobile River (replacing tunnel) plus expanding the 5 mile Bayway from 4 to 8 lanes.

Meanwhile BR folks are super excited I10 is adding one lane between the bridge and acadian to be completed by 2030.
Yay.

Good. Getting harder to hold my breath thru the tunnel with all the slow traffic.

Alabama making Louisiana look bad with new bridges.

Louisiana just sucks when it comes to infrastructure.

Don't worry, it won't be done for 20 years or so if they work on the same timeline as malfunction junction has been done on.

How many people reside in the mobile metro Vs the br metro? How many people pass through Mobile daily via I-10? It’s not as easy as you people think.

BR metro is a good bit bigger. I'm not sure about the traffic volume though.

Houston to Nola via I-10. A lot of trucks take 59 to ATL too. Not nearly as many take I-10 through Mobile to get to FL. I bet most traffic going to FL is coming down 95.

Wichita sold a hotel a year or so ago. By the end of last year they were already using the money to fix a lot of the streets that had gone bad. I didn’t know governments could be so efficient (or efficient at all).

All the while Lake Charles has senators coming through saying, “oh it’s really not up to me to replace this bridge”
