Anyone who has a job, no matter your race or creed, only knows about the actual national holidays because you get a day off.
No one gives a shite if they stop sending out emails of remembrance or they get rid of the dumb screensavers they put on company computers.

I could get on board with this - as long as it includes all religious holidays such as Christmas, Easter, and Hanukkah as well. Federal holidays should be: Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veteran's Day and maybe Flag Day.
