Hippies did it out of love and to get high. These are just bitter, angry people who want to watch the world burn. They use hatred as their sword, and will try to destroy anyone who doesn't have the EXACT same opinion as they do.
They are cut from a much different cloth than the hippies were, where someone like George Carlin would go out of his way to do stand-up for.

Probably half of the protesters weren't at all affiliated with Mizzou, and they'll see it is a victory because the school closing and firing people doesn't affect them one bit

Even so, there are those around these parts who "think" ULL is a top tier football program and belongs in SEC type conferences.
