Good.

Walked from the Bywater to Am. Sorts Saloon and the frickers begged for the beer I was already drinking.

though I obviously don't know any of the people arrested today personally I'm kind of on the fence on this. clearly if they were being disruptive or belligerent or otherwise being a menace they needed to go, but...

this is America, home of the free, and the last frontier.
some people just don't want to conform and to be honest we need those people.
I spent a couple summers living not on the street but in that spirit, following the dead around. the people who have found a way to live free from the confines of conformity appeal to me, I feel better knowing they are out there

all that said if they were infringing on others' freedoms they gotta go.
but setting out and going where you want, when you want and making do with what you find is ok by me.

the ones with dogs that need care though can frick right off and die

I'm still confused. Are you saying only conservatives talk shite about homeless people?

Trying to find the place on Zillow or something?

But to answer you, it’s not next to Jax. But I wouldn’t say the “heart” of the FQ either.

Those aren't the citizens who rob you at gunpoint and then zoom off in a Buick with tinted windows.

Don't blame that on the transients. We've all seen what you do.

they are known to rob and steal.... most live in squat houses that second and shooting galleries for heroin and meth. They will shite everywhere in these houses, this time of year start little fires and stuff like that.... pieces of shite

I’ve personally found one all stabbed up bleeding out and got the paramedics there. Stab wounds coming from another loser.

Those camps of homeless are all over the country. We actually have less tent cities than most other left leaning cities.

Within literally 15 seconds of getting off the interstate in Oakland, I saw the largest tent city I’ve ever seen. It was ridiculous.

Anecdotal, I know.

those people are homeless, not by choice
the transients arrested today are on the streets on purpose

I saw them everywhere in LA. LA has this unique thing where buildings are built under and into the interstate overpass. The abandoned ones spwan encampments.

But the fricking tent city under the CBD overpass is cool?
I like how it migrates..... it was once under Claiborne on the downtown side of Canal.... it moved to Duncan Plaza in front of city hall.... it moved to under the ponch expressway across from greyhound station..... then moved closer to the river camp and calliope..... now under the Claiborne underpass on the uptown side of canal......

And so is life....

We need another Super Bowl so we can disappear them again.
