President and CEO salary averages ranged from $79,033 in agencies with less than $1 million in P/C premium volume to $519,643 for agencies with more than $100 million in premium volume.
From the 2007 insurance journal owners survey. I then extrapolated the average increase in agency owners, principals and management at 6% (which is too generous) of the last 14 years based on their yearly increase in pay survey.
That, along with personal knowledge of my network, and knowing how many American make that amount of money I can confidently state you are a liar

I dont know where you are. But im in south ms, work at a school district (non teacher... IT) our teachers make 60-75k a year in the district. Not a single one makes 40k

Nowhere in that link does it say anything about revenues.

The catagories are far too broad to ve accurate.

Only 10% make at least 125k and as wages go up amount of earners goes down non linearly. 1% may be generous.
What's your number since you obviously "know" it

Mingo would argue with a brick wall.

I only point out when people are so obviously making shite up. You've provided not one shred of empirical evidence to back up your claim. There's a shite load, both numerical and intuitive, that you're wrong.

Bud, I'm an insurance agent... Every single one I know is making that or more here in Florida. Stick to shite you know about.
What kind of insurance? I was with a large commercial agency until early December. Looking to get back in after a falling out with new management.
Typically, you have to land (and keep) some big accounts or build up your book over more than the first few years of being in the business to make 6 figures.

I'm not sure I can because I'm not sure its that high. Using all available data, it's certainly not over that.
You allegedly have the exact data to prove me wrong. Why not post it and end the conversation? I'm happy to look at it.

Last year was my first full calendar year. My gross revenue was 353k. This year, my second year, I’m on track for 500k in revenue and my March bonus is 63,500. Why would I make that up? My peer group is super successful and I’m one of the top agents in the company. I guess you win?

Like a good neighbor. They are more generous with assignments then in prior years. New agents start with a minimum of 1.8 mil book size if assignment. The new market opportunity is great but not for everyone.
