Meh, it’s been higher than 42 feet in 2008, 2011, 2016, 2018, and 2019. It got up to 45 feet in 2011.

The Atchafalaya is going to eat the Mississippi eventually. Shorter and faster path to the Gulf. Old River Control Structure almost went in ‘73. When it does, Morgan City will become the new New Orleans, and New Orleans will become the new Galveston.

Meh, BR is running 1.09 million cfs. shite doesn't get real until 1.50 million cfs.

That said, can you imagine a scenario where Nola is going crazy from a pandemic and it's freshwater supply gets shutoff from ORCS failure? Talk about blood in the streets.

But what about crawfish prices?

My buddy sold his spillway crawfish at the dock for $1.00/lb today.
