This is such a weird story. Why did it take three days for this to come out? Even the father's post sounds off. I don't know. Just seems really strange.

The father posted this below. Reading between the lines the mother looks like she abducted the son and he had to file a civil suit to get rid of their joint custody so technically an Amber alert can be issued. The parents were purportedly involved in a very nasty divorce.
I suspect the father kept this quiet in the hopes that the ex-wife would come to her senses and when she didn’t he had to go public which is why he made the public notification this afternoon. Feel bad for this kid if this is what has taken place and hopefully he is unharmed.
“Thanks for all of the support. Yes, he is registered as a missing person and a full investigation is underway. My attorney is currently in the process of having a civil warrant issued and an Amber Alert approved so that all law enforcement in all jurisdictions are advised to return him to my custody in the event that he is located. His E-Bike had a tracker on it which was tracked to 946 Dupard Street before the tracker was disabled, and all of his social media accounts were de-activated shortly after that. Everyone is still looking for him.”

Dupard st is the moms address but haven’t really seen any confirmed involvement. But I will say it’s a very strange and tough situation….

Yeah, you never know. I don’t think there’s a “type”. Kids sometimes do dumb things no matter how they’re raised or how good they have it. And you never really know what’s going on inside someone else’s four walls even if they’re nice looking walls.

Still confusing. The mom was making Facebook post about her son being missing.
Seemed like if he was actually living with her this week that someone in the family would know.
