Sorry for your loss. Hopefully justice is served on the people who are involved.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. As for another arrest i have heard all along that another man was a suspect in this crime. I was thinking that he would already be in custody. The one arrested today was not the one i was originally talking about in the original post. It will all come out in the wash.

I feel sorry for your loss no one wants to go through experiencing a loss like this.

Seems to me that not finding a body in the garbage can for a few days was a rookie mistake or someone moved the body back after authorities moved their search elsewhere.

Why am I not shocked that's what the murderer looked like...

Obviously low IQ, shown by the tats on his face.

I find that the more localized a police department is the more incompetent and corrupt they are.

This is what I think happened.

Pigskin, there was quite a turnout at St. John's tonight for the rosary that was said for Howard.
I hope this gives you some comfort to know that he was so well regarded in Jeanerette, and that it won't be the same without seeing him riding his bike down Main St.

No way...

I say no way, but I honesty have no idea

Seems like it'd be hard to just bring a body back without someone seeing you.. smells like incompetence to me

That makes no sense. They searched for 3 days and no one checked the trashcan at his own house?

Are you fricking kidding me? How incompetent are those inbreds down there? Jeez.

was it a dumpster or strait up large trash cans?

It would make sense if that was the case and a dumpster, but not exposed (if that was the case) in a can where a garbage man would eventually see

From the link, if that is the same one, it's just a small, round, metal trash can

Not sure if that's the one though

I am thinking it was a miscommunication thing. I think JPD got there, secured the crime scene, realized they were in over their heads, called the Sheriff, and were released. The sheriffs thought JPD had searched the premises and JPD assumed the sheriff would search it.

I also think the boy told them, after he was arrested, where he put Mr. Poche.

It is kind of a bad look for them to keep blaming each other.

Thrown in the trash. Those low-life, worthless motherfrickers.

May the victim rest in peace.

Sounds like the defense has a case for a mistrial or possibly reasonable doubt that the suspect was framed.

That's sickening to think about
