I know they are stunned right now but I hope this young man's family and friends are able to find a little peace. I cannot even think about what walking in their shoes must be like.

Same reason we don't talk a lot of Southern football. This is an LSU site. He was an LSU student. If he was a black missing LSU student it would be the same thing. The common denominator is "LSU" not "white".

For those reading who know Michael personally, I'm very sorry for your loss. I'll pray that they may come to peace with celebrating his life after allowing time to grieve.

This thread covered a lot of commonality between a lot of people here, it doesn’t need to be gone, some admin might remove that one guys posts, but if people stop responding to those comments they will go away. You’re not going to change someone who has hate ingrained in them, but if you respond to them it only makes it worse.

Regardless of what happened, a young life was taken. There can be no words to describe what his family is going through. All I can offer is prayers, for his family, and for the repose of his soul for eternity.
