It seems like the port would have so much surveillance they would have a camera capturing that section of the bridge. The FBI has come to my office because we went to the levee and took a picture of the bridge at sunset. So we were reported to the terrorism task force for casing a plant. I can’t believe they don’t have video.

Ole Boy...Ole Boy's wife...Ole Boy's wife's hairdresser...dude known by hairdresser (relationship status unknown)...police. Yeah, totally trustworthy chain right there.

That’s what I told my wife. There’s no way I’m going to believe a hairdresser, I’ll stick to getting my info from the OT!!

That's gonna be super difficult to prove. I would be seriously impressed with forensic science if they can prove impact damage from vehicle strike vs impact with water

DNA evidence / impact evidence from vehicle is what I'm thinking. And yes, would be hard to prove. Now, if a witness shows up that saw something...

Wife no pics just told me that her hairdresser knows a guy who works with the he PD and he said it’s the girl that they found. Will update once the hairdresser confirms cause of death and motive if any.

A lot of people here have said she may have been hit and thrown over because she got out her car due to trouble with it. If the car was running what kind of trouble could cause someone to exit it? On a bridge too?

There would be blood evidence if she were struck outside her car.

Industrial contractor - I was working on a new Ad and sent our safety director to get a sunset picture of the bridge. Dead serious. FBI agent said with all of the movies being filmed in Baton Rouge, they waste so much time investigating reports of people with cameras in the vicinity of plants.

Perhaps she drove around a while casing out a place to jump and kept going back and forth. Finally while on the bridge she just finally said "it's now or never". Get's out the car, leaves it running, and just runs and goes over just to get it over with.

Seems an odd way for a female to commit suicide, I know. But hasn't it been proven that she drove around back and forth on the west side around Port Allen? Maybe she wanted to do it but was afraid then finally just said "frick it" and did it. That would explain why her car was found running in the left lane.

I don't know. I'm just spit balling here.

Go stand out on the levee with a camera pointed at a plant and see what happens.

Wonder how good of an idea authorities can get of damage on car before it was hit? Like flat tire, engine trouble, did car have flashers on etc
Maybe she got out to see if she had a flat or something else and was hit.

This is true. When I was working in Exxon a group of foreigners were seen on the side of Scenic taking pictures in the plant and they were detained. It appears they were just tourists fascinated with the size of the refinery. But the pics went bye bye.

Someone said the cops were on the scene? Do they have dashcams or body cams?
