I’d trade TX Shreveport for Beaumont.

On a map it is. That’s about where it ends.

You sound dumb. Laws here are rather liberal if you now how to work them. Far from Sharia.
Really really dumb.

I always miss the people, food and the overall laidback vibe that you get there. I’ll never miss the total incompetence of the government at every level and the lack of give a damn.
The laidback vibe can be taken too far into a total lack of give a damn.
Louisiana will always be home base for me. No matter where I live it’ll always be on my mind. Means the world to me. Anyone who’s from there can shite on it all we want but the moment an outsider rags on it, we don’t stand for it. I’m quick to let Texans know that their state isn’t as great as they think it is if they want to shite on Louisiana.

Lived in Lafayette and Baton Rouge. Had no interest in Shreveport but it is in Louisiana
BTR is just a bigger Shreveport. I’m in Lafayette almost every week for work. Super overrated from what you Cajuns boast about. Was makes it so special?

Moved out of La years ago. Best thing for my family. Don’t look back and won’t go back

After last kid gets out of school and off the payroll, seriously considering getting the frick out of this state.

And yet you’re still here? Says as much about you as the state.

I lived away for awhile, and besides family and friends, didn't miss it a lick.

Did you bring a little part back home with you? Go to doctor and check for any STD.

I’m not originally from Louisiana, lived there for 12 years, and will freely make fun of it as much as I damn well please.
And you and your tribal ilk won’t do a damn thing about it.
