Internet sleuths are the worst of society. I’m watching the new Netflix documentary about the Idaho college murders. Similar things took place where friends, and even family, were being dragged through the mud and harassed constantly online. Of course it turned out that none of those people had anything to do with it, but the damage was done. Let people mourn and grieve. It should never be up to “internet detectives” who require immediate answers to everything. At least there was no racial component to that one, but it’s sad to see the way people are treated because idiot influencers and sleuths have a microphone and a platform to spew their shite.

I actually couldn't believe when I saw a video of this lady explaining what she did. It's one thing to post this kind of stuff on a fake account with no ties to you and a completely stupid decision to tie your own life to this video.

Watch the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary called "Fantastic Lies", which tells the story of the Duke lacrosse team rape scandal. This is exactly what happened to those 3 guys based on the accusations made by a mentally unstable stripper.

This guy is going to ultimately be responsible for some defamation lawsuits.
These people are chasing windmills. The dumped overboard theory was blown to bits with eye witness accounts of Nolan on Horn as late as 6PM, and video of the 7 kids on the boat from Sea Tow without Nolan.
The Bart theory got blasted to shite as well. The photo of Bart and "Katie" isnt Katie at all. The pic is from high school (Bart is now 21), and he's never met Katie McCormick. All confirmed by the respective parties lawyers.
Now these hateful trolls who are muddying the waters with manufactured evidence want money? Our society is lost.

There are thousands of blacks and white liberal women on the socials who are calling for all of the white friends (JUST the white friends) to be arrested for murder. Mind you, there is ZERO evidence of murder and the investigation is still underway. We dont even have an official autopsy. Its jarring.

This is why I don't feel bad for them anymore.
Wanting answers is fine. Accepting help from scumbags is understandable.
But they should have asked people to refrain from speculating or attacking innocent people without evidence.

A large percentage of the "people" making comments on Facebook are digital creators with only a few friends. It's pretty obvious a ton of this is being driven by bots
