This is a personal injury case, likely against the boat owner/operator.

He wasn't on the boat...

This was not boating accident.... The kid is a legal adult... He made his own decisions... Especially if it's proven they tried talking him into coming back with them.

If I drive someone to a party, and the kid dies at said party, you think the person providing transportation is responsible?

That’s why Crump is involved.

Krump is involved simply because it has racial ramifications . If this were any other case, any lawyer could've taken the case...

not legal drinking age though. Theyll find someone to sue for providing alcohol to a minor that led to his death

thats the slim, narrow door for the frivolous lawsuit that only benefits the lawyers that allow them to parade this through

I'm sure, but what if the kid provided it for himself?

Not a lawyer but guessing they will say the boat operator was negligent by leaving him on an island and that contributed directly to his death. Any reasonable jury would say that's bullshite but we all know how this is going to go.

I mean I don't have a crystal ball here but this lawyer looks like the type that would argue it was the one beer provided by someone else that led to his death

Just watched the funeral & it's just sickening. Crump & Sharpton on stage consoling the mom like they're family or something. They never even met the kid & just met the mom the week before & here they are making the funeral about themselves.

What a country we live in.

That is awful. Poor kid should have had a proper send off with family, friends, loved ones.

One has to wonder if the parents will look back in a few years and mourn the fact their son's send off was boiled down to a political/activist affair.

I’m glad I was raised to not be this type of person, but I just can’t fathom letting known race-hustlers come in and turn my son’s death into a circus. In their hearts they have to know what’s going on and they just don’t care. To hell with all the “their son just died so they might not be thinking clearly.” Everyone here has lost someone and once the initial shock wears off, you still understand right from wrong.

She is a Nurse Practitioner at Singing River? that sees patients. I know someone that is a patient of hers.

IF she goes back to work. no one besides people who look and think like her will want her to be their medical provider.

I personally think that this facility should cut ties with her if either hasn't done so already.

in my personal experience, good luck hoping for that.

Lawyers at either of the hospitals along the coast (memorial or singing river) hate firing people that aren't white because of lawsuits...even if the people they are trying to fire are incompetent

They let fricking Al Sharpton do the eulogy. Sharpton doesn't know this kid from any other stranger to be able to eulogize him. He sees his latest pay day and that's all.

Sharpton never appears at the numerous shooting deaths that occur in the hood everyday. This is a case that has the image that Sharpton can leverage against Whitey.

If patients quit seeing her and she's not making $ for them, why would they retain her?

My PCP is a 40ish black female who is the absolute best. Saying that because of some OTers would say I am racist for not wanting to be treated by this brainless, race baiter named Christine Wells-Wonsley.

Maybe she and her family can go live on Horn Island.

I'll say it again. The minute they let Crump or Al in this is when I stopped having any sympathy for them. They are no different than Karmelo's parents. Looking for a payday off their son.

They do this at restaurants as well. Always looking for an opportunity to complain about something to receive free food from a Manager comp.

Sharpton talked about fricking cockroaches and Chump stood up and clapped.

If that were my kid, at the first mention of cockroach, both of those MOFOs would have been shown the door.

The funeral was in no way, shape or form, a celebration of Nolan's life or a reflection of the type of person he was. It was all about Chump and Rev. Al.

The parents should be ashamed.

Ten p.m. news in Knoxville TN, the Fox stateion, had that funeral on, bereaved Mother being comforted by Sharpton.
Somehow I missed the explanation of the Knoxville connection to any of the participants.

Would be a dumb move because then they'd probably get hit with a wrongful termination lawsuit, huge amount of negative PR, and protestors showing up outside their facility.
