Scam. They have you buy it, and return it for cash when you leave. Same thing for formula, diapers, etc.
I thought Walmart doesn’t offer cash on credit card returns?

Was at Lowes in Sarasota yesterday. Had to pick up some acid for my pool. I was loading it in the back of my truck and a lady, decent looking in her 50's pushed a buggy up to a SUV next to me. She had it loaded with bags of mulch and sand. I asked her if she needed a hand loading it in her car and she looked at me like I was some kind of alien. Now I had my 20 year old son with me so it was obvious I was not hitting on her
She never answered. Just turned her back to me and started struggling with the bags.
I just dont get it and I never will

I have an oral medication that is known to cure most ailments and is an excellent hair gel. We just need about 3 minutes in a private area to activate the applicator.

If she left her wallet at home, why couldn’t she go home and get it?

You are right. They ask someone else to do it and it's usually something s little expensive (for Wal-Mart). Nyquil is about $20 for the combo (day and night). She was going to go back to the register and ask for a refund. This is going on quite a lot and people are getting taken advantage of. Usually its a woman with baby formula saying she needs it for her baby. People fall for it and formula is expensive.

That's a Yankee, buying mulch for Juan and Pedro to get the flower beds fixed up before she goes back to yankeeland for the summer. They should have tats on their foreheads so we don't bother.

Is Walmart one of the last places to not accept Apple Pay?

She could have been. But honestly, I dont understand why anyone could be that unfriendly. Now I get that people are basically afraid of each other these days and honestly, we should be. There are some crazy damn people out there and hell, I dont go anywhere that I am not strapped. But this was more of a look of disgust that I actually offered to help her.
Maybe she didnt like the fact that a man offered or that she thought we were going to mug her and throw her in the back of the truck. But there were tons of peole around and she could barely push that cart

Every Begger Ive run into lately has been under 40, in decent shape.
Standing there begging in front of a line of stores with "help wanted" signs.

If you left your wallet at home would you beg strangers or drive home and get it?
As a man I'm sure 99.9% of us would drive home and get our wallet. But you have to remember pretty girls don't experience life like we do. She's probably had men buying her things since she was born. For the attractive girl in their 20s that question probably answers about 50% go home and 50% ask someone to buy it for me cause I don't wanna come back.

I was behind a younger white dude (maybe 25) in line at the grocery store a few months ago.
He tried using an EBT card I think, and the black lady at the register was accusing him that the card wasn't his or something and wouldn't let him check out.
My first thought was, would she be accusing him of this if he was black...? Doubtful.
Anyway, the dude was embarrassed and just trying to get some real food.
He was getting all the cheap off-brands. Bags of the cheap cereal, bread, sandwich meats. No junk food or anything. He wasn't piling high dollar items in his cart. Just good, cheap groceries.
When I saw this happening, I had an overwelming wave of empathy for some reason and offered to pay for his groceries.
Endes up being around $60. I kinda felt good doing this, but also a little weird about it. 99% sure this dude wasn't trying scam anyone. Just needed food.

I always pay for kids stuff at the convenience store when I see them counting change or the cashier making them put stuff back because they don't have enough money...

You can kinda tell...
I did that for a lady that was buying all kinds of stuff you actually had to cook...chicken thighs, stew meat, etc... She tried 2 credit/debit cards and they wouldn't go through...
We took care of it.

should have told her you can't buy her the tablets, but you can help her with an injection.

Be thankful that was the only interaction that you had with her.

Which is fricking terrible because there's people that sometimes actually need help.
