What hill am I dying on? Not believing that all cops are bad guys? That the first few pages of this thread said just that?
I’ve already said you can’t defend the cop with the knee in his throat while having his hands in his pocket...what else does your mob want from me, Boosie?
Want me to wear a BLM shirt while blaring NWA with my 10” bazookas?
Because the data doesn’t show that this is as big of a problem than what the mob is making it. Not all cops are bad, man. It’s okay for two things to be true at once.

Update-4 cops involved have been fired.
That was quick.
Well I saw this on another article:
quote:
Police spokesman John Elder told the Star Tribune that the restraint technique using Chauvin’s knee was not part of the department’s training.
“In my years as an officer, that would not be what I would ever consider a chokehold,” Elder said.

Always thought that knee on the back of the neck was BS. They need to come up with new methods, because you see this method used all the time.
I know an old dude who was a cop back in the 70's who carried a pair of channel locks pliers to get the rowdy ones in check. He said they will go any place you tell once you clamp on with that. It may leave a little mark, but it's not going to do permanent damage or kill them.

How about no? What are you going to do about it?

Perfect little NPCs.

Yes we do and until you start getting murdered at the rate we do or even put your life on the line like we do everyday, you'll neve understand
BLS data indicates that being a “police and sheriff patrol officer” is only the 18th deadliest occupation in the US in terms of fatal injuries per 100,000 workers. 17 other occupations put their life on the line at a much higher rate than cops do.

But I’m guessing the distinction you prefer to make is not comparing death rates by occupation, only murder rates.

It's way more dangerous to be a garbage man than a cop.
And they don't dress like they are ready to assault Fallujah.

That settles it, I'm thanking my garbage man on Friday for being the real hero of the pandemic.
