Been carrying the medium bifold in tobacco for a few years. Takes a few months to really break in; but, it's got a lovely patina now and will last forever.

Yeah, me too. They kept snapping.

I second the ridge recommendation.
I got the carbon fiber version, and while it's pricey and it took getting used to having my wallet on my front pocket, I've fallen in love with its aesthetics and function.
My only issue is the built in RFID blockers forcing me to move my work ID badge outside under the money clip when I'm working.

I've been using the basics wallet I got off of a kickstarter campaign and it has been great.

Several year ago I started with the black money band (Grand Band) ... basically a heavy duty rubber band. I ditched the monogram silver piece.
A few i.d. and credit cards, some cash .. that's it -- minimalist.

Bellroy is what I went with. Quality minimalist wallet.

I had one but it's so much leather (probably not minimalistic)

I have a crabby minimalist wallet. It's pretty good. I like having the key ring, so I can leave my keys at home when going out drinking.

Check out Recycled Firefighter. The owner of the company is named Jake and he makes a great minimalist wallet and some nice bi and trifold wallets also. All the wallets are made from recycled fire hose and when you purchase one Jake will let you know what city, state, firehouse, and even truck number the hose came from. The wallets are extremely durable and will last you a lifetime. I have bought several wallets from him in the past few years for myself and as gifts for friends and family after they saw mine and wanted one of their own.

Big Skinny
They are unbelievably thin for what they pack. And they seem to last forever.

Lost my old wallet and had a money clip someone gave me as a gift. I tried it out and never want to go back to anything else.

Why all the down votes?
I've had a Ridge for 2 years, will never go back to anything else.

I was wondering the same.
