Boomers are the biggest pussies of any generation. They royally fricked the economy, sent us to multiple illegal wars, and continued the establishment politics all the while getting pissy because some millenial doesn't love their candidates

As a millennial, I don’t try to deny the accusations that my generation is lazy, stupid or bad with money. The more people embrace that concept, the easier it is for people like me to half arse things and still climb the corporate ladder.

One generation isn't better than any other. It's the decisions we make as individuals that matters. Generational blaming never solves anything. Times change, and with that social, economic, and political views change. People born in 1940 are going to have different outlooks on life than people born in 1990 because society is different.

Human beings adapt to the world they are in. That's why it's dumb to judge people like George Washington or Robert E Lee by today's standards. They were men who believed and did what they thought best for their time. My only hope is that generations today and the future will same level of conviction.

The stereotype of millennials is overstated.

Also, the older generations aren't exactly bastions of intelligence either. Damn sure have no aptitude for any actions/activities that require efficiency or any sort of technology.

How?

For one, if you spent as much time learning to print shite in landscape or how to use email properly as you do bitching about generations younger than you, we'd probably hate you less.

The worst generation is probably the boomers. Not because of the usual reasons. Because they don’t understand math and how to manage social security effectively.

It’s just over their head to understand that with with every generation, the more money has to be put into the pot to cover an increased base for withdrawals. If not, you need to understand the appropriate level of benefits.

I think the current plan is something like for every 2.3 withdrawals, there is 1.9 contributors.

Like that is fricking sustainable. But let’s not fix it. We’ll be dead by then.

Proceeds to kick can down the road 40 years.

Well... Your point is really directed to politicians. Boomers understand the math but politicians have screwed that. And it's taken awhile to realize what the polis have done. And the conservative voters have made it impossible to reel in the polis since they vote on emotionally issues rather than real things

That’s just pointing the finger and failing to take responsibility. Surefire road sign of a lagging generation.

This isn’t a left right issue. Dems haven’t been beating down the door for social security reform. They’ve been using it as a scare tactic for 30 years. “They’ll take away your social security.”

Old people begin clutching pearls instead of someone sitting down and explaining the math and the solutions.
