Feel free to discuss.

Isn’t it mostly millennials who are cooking the food and waiting the tables at these places?
Like it was gen x 10 years ago? I know you’re not stupid enough to think this is exclusive to millennials.

BWW has 50% off wings on Tuesday. 20 wings for about $10.50
It's fairly good.

Wings, fries, and a beer of soft drink is like $20-25 at BWW. Ridiculous.
This is my biggest issue with BWW. It's so dang expensive to eat there. If I am going to spend $15-$20 a person it better be good. But it's very mediocre. I'm not a huge traditional wings fan so I just get boneless when I go and they are just like the Tyson boneless chicken wings that you can buy at Wal-Mart.

Yeah, you can bake 20 wings for 6 dollars from the grocery store.

Chains suck for the most part.
Yeah for the most part. BWW sucks as does Crapplebees.... Chili's does OK though as do the Mexican chains.
I always thought though that Macaroni Grill was pretty good but, they keep closing everywhere....bu somehow Olive Garden survives and they are true crap ....can someone please explain that to me

I never said it was exclusive to anything. But the point still stands. He said it was poor service and food that drives millennials away from these places. I just pointed out that by in large it's his fellow millennials who work at those same places.

surprised Applebees, Fridays, etc. hung on this long in their 1980s food delivery/experience model.

There is no point other than your constant need to shite on millennials.

I’m not shitting on millennials. What have I posted that’s untrue?

I ate at the BWW in Metairie once. The wait staff outnumbered the customers. One group came in to eat and had to wait so long to be seated, they walked back out.
The food was served on paper, was mediocre, and the bill for my wife, my 8 year old and myself came to around 70 bucks. I think I ordered two beers at most. They also got our order wrong.
It was probably the worst restaurant experience I've had. I sent an email to BWW corporate to explain just how badly that location was damaging their brand. I figured it might be unique. I guess not. I also stated in the email, you may be tempted to offer me a free meal to make up for it, don't. I'll never eat there again and this email was sent as a courtesy.

But we buy local beer, local meat and dairy, and eat almost exclusively at locally owned restaurants when we eat out in Nashville (which is obviously super easy to do because of our city).
I live in Nashville as well, and I think Ive been to a chain restaurant once in the past three to four months that wasnt something quick for lunch like Subway. The GF and myself went to 312 pizza in Germantown on Saturday night, and we had brunch at Fido in Hillsboro yesterday. It just tastes better to me, and its the same price as a chain restaurant.

Not all.... If you are on the road and don't have time to find something local it's easier to find something you know. Most chains can't screw up a bacon cheese burger.

I would think the shitty cuisine they serve would be their undoing.....

I didn’t downvote you. Don’t be a snowflake.

The reasoning the research in the OP determined was that millennials tend to favor cooking at home, not that millennial servers are driving people away from chain restaurants.

So a place like walk ons, Would you never eat there? It's a chain, a local chain, but they have several locations around the country now.
I just wouldn't eat there because the food sucks.
