Such a stupid argument. Unlike my parents, who dig their heels in and support one side of the political spectrum like its a fricking sports team, im aware that everyone in politics is scum.

Im not going to go cast my vote for someone i dont believe in, but disbelieve in less than someone else.
The whole "you must vote for the sake of voting or you cant say anything" argument might actually be one of the root causes of the problems. 98% of votes are votes AGAINST someone not truly in favor of anything. All greaseball politicians have to do is make you hate the other side. They dont actually do any good.

Aren't you the same age as me? Pretty sure I am considered a Millennial. Basically anyone between the ages of 10 and 35 as of now.

Haven't read the thread. I always miss the fun ones when I have to go into the office.

You sure a generation endorsing slavery or genocide wasn't worse?

it's really just a crock pot. my brother was at the fringe area between x and y like you, and I (born in 88) grew up with him so I share a lot of those traits. however, I still share a lot of traits with gen y. it's not always cut and dry.

Well, guess I'm too far out of Gen X territory to say I'm close to them. I'm 29, so just one of the original packs of selfish a-hole Millennials. I'm the youngest of five boys, ages 34-42, so I grew up on Gen-X ideals and entertainment.

Hmm, I wonder whose fault that is... nahhhh, let's go ahead and blame them for how their parents raised them.

This might as well be the definition of baby boomers.

I'm sure all of the past generations had in-depth knowledge of how the markets worked at a young age, right?

Damn, didn't realize Millenials invented tattoos and piercings. Thanks for telling us

lol, ask any old frick who calls themselves conservative what exactly that means and what they support. More than half won't be able to say anything other than some jumbled nonsense about small government, communism and how Obama is an evil Muslim and that God needs to be put back in schools

Makes sense.. The outliers age groups are probably able to more identify with another group if they had older siblings .. So yeah I agree with that.. ...

I definitely am more gen y, but I definitely have some traits that are gen x and definitely don't have a lot of the gen y traits. I imagine a lot of people are like that.

I'm 27, and my brothers are 35 and 39 so I guess that has had an influence.

that's what I'm talking about. granted you're a better example of it than what I was talking about, but a lot of gen y people share a lot of the gen x traits and lack some of the more "negative" gen y traits. I'm sure you aren't entitled or a brat in the workplace like a common gen y trope.

These generational group definitions have changed since their inception.

Who even mentions Gen Y anymore?

By the way, the people born in 1940 - 1955 are very different from 1955-1970, yet the title Baby Boomer is sometimes applied to all that?

And Gen X from 1960 to 1980? What a joke! People born in 1965 are a very different group than those born in 1980.
