Look he tortured and killed dogs and was part of a dog fighting ring.

Depending on where you grow up, dog fighting can be normalized (not saying its right.. I am just saying people view things different depending on how they grew up).

Some people flip out about the idea of people going in the woods and hunting deer.. Or when someone kills their first deer putting the deer's blood on the face of the person who killed it. To me, I think that is normal. Like most people in Louisiana, its probably something you have seen done most of your life. Other people think that is psychopathic.

Some people who went hunting when they were younger, had deer blood put all over their face with pride after knocking down that first deer.. Later in life that might become something they can't believe they once did..

Vick's complexion earned him the 2 years. Not saying what he did wasn't wrong and that he didn't deserve the time but Peyton Manning or Breesus does this and I guarantee they see no time in jail.

Take your racist arse out of here.

Vick went to jail because he is an animal torturing son of a bitch. He didn't go to jail because he is Black.

You shite stains that think Blacks are so exalted they should have freedom to commit any crime and walk. You are the problem.

To all you stupid bastards that are saying the “they’re pit bulls, who cares.’
I hope aliens snatch your pathetic asses and anally probe you until you spew blood and medically torture the shite out of you and everyone you love. Then the aliens can say “they’re just humans, who cares.”

This already happened to me. It wasn't that bad. What other scenarios you got?

Everyone makes mistakes. Nobody is perfect. Forgiveness and less judging is what God asks us to do.

Dog fighting is very common and popular in the non-western world. Believe it or not, Caucasians are among the only people in the world who abhor dog fighting.

So let one of your dogs get in between anyone I care about and living...

Or for that matter, do a poll on here asking if you'd kill a hundred dogs for $10 million bucks... You will be disappointed

I lived in Hampton Roads at the time, the training ring was an above ground pool built by the company I worked for. They'd cut the liner out and used the sand to soak up the blood. Purchased it from Rec Warehouse when they still existed.

That being said, the general belief around there at the time was that he took the blame for stuff that he didn't do. To keep those who were actually guilty either out of jail or to get them reduced time. A lot of His extended family still lived in close proximity to some not so great people. The same ones who were breeding and training the dogs. Vick was really just an investor, he had made money so he had to set up his "boys" back home. They made sure he knew they weren't taking the blame for it.

Iverson had the same issue. He and Vick both pumped a ton of money into the areas they grew up in by giving it to supposed friends and their aquaintances. A lot of both the former and the latter were gang affiliated.

Why are people so offended about dog fighting but don’t care about slaughtering cows and pigs and forcing them to live in inhumane conditions.

Seems hypocritical.

Yeah from watching part 2 it seemed like dog-fighting was a common thing where he grew up. Like cock-fighting was around Lafayette in the 80's and 90's.

I watched the second part and I won’t say I like him or think he changed because people can be fooled easily. I will say I do respect him for taking a harsher punishment than he needed to and he was a product of his environment. I will say he does seem like a better person.

Also frick Roger Goodell for playing innocent. The NFL knows everything that’s going on with their players.
