You do realize craft is more than an IPA?

Do craft brewers know this, if it is not a new iteration of an IPA it will be some sort of Stout or Sour.

Not sure what is unappealing about it if you like beer.

It was cool at first and I drank a lot of different craft beers with my favorites being Ghost in the Machine, Yellow Rose and Purple Haze but that ship has sailed now, they're no longer appealing.

Also one of the worst things about craft beer are the craft beer snobs.

I’m big on all of these.

Modelo losing the top spot isn’t surprising. It being top at any point is surprising, given how expensive it is compared to the others.

Maybe 3 years ago. Craft breweries are brewing just as many lagers and pilsners as the beers you listed nowadays

Frick Anheuser for destroying a perfectly respectable beer brand with piss colored fizzy water.

I liked the old Michelob....regular and dark. Don't be afraid of the Dark.

Ultra is for women who think they like beer and less than masculine men

Out protest I'm sticking with Modelo.....at least Mexicans know real beer.

OK, that makes sense.

As an aside, did the sale from PE close? Ate at the Denham Springs location yesterday and the food and (more importantly) talent seemed much better than the last time I ate there (about six months ago). Thought maybe the transaction had an effect.

Yes. Now it is all about whatever changes the new group wants to put us through. We have ups and downs and employees affect that a good bit. Our type of business is a revolving door of employees. It honestly takes a lot of work to maintain a staff.

Almost all of them now put out pilsner or lagers. Hell, even light lagers and things just like bud light but with actual flavor.

Finding sours and stouts these days isnt near what it was 3-5 years ago. Everyone is going lighter

Haze bros certainly only hype the latest shite orange juice. They are slowly killing craft beer.

it’s one of the funniest trends in any industry

after decades building up brands on stouts, sours and IPAs, al the craft breweries are like “what if we made a beer that tastes like beer?”
