The leader of Mexico’s ruling political party – Senator Ricardo Monreal – has confirmed his country will fully legalise cannabis by the end of the month.

Monreal, head of the MORENA party, said the public consultation over the prospect of Mexican marijuana legalisation had ended, with the majority of the public heavily in favour of legalisation.

He added that the government was close to finalising a reform bill that would be enacted without delay.

Does it count if 99% of it is brickweed?

In all seriousness it's fricking pathetic that Mexico is going to legalize it before us

Drop about $1 million on a supercritical CO2 extraction lab and you can make all the high-quality full-spectrum and distilled oils you want from that crappy weed.

Sure, but, Mexico being Mexico, I'm not trusting the quality control.

Are you suggesting the heroin and blow that the cartels bring in isn’t top notch?

At one point in time, Mexican were was the gold standard.

Mexico can and will grow great weed.

Don't know. Never fricked with H and it's impossible to tell how hard your coke has been stepped on.

Have fun, though. I'll continue to enjoy the finest weed on Earth. American grown West Coast.

The funny thing is extracts are the future and flowers will slowly fade out. Extracts are like alchemy you can make gold from shite. Mexican outdoor-grown ditch could be a boon for large scale high-end extraction labs BUT for it to be legal to import the Fed would have to legalize. As soon as that happens companies like PepsiCo, Nestle, Kraft, and Cargill will all get in the game and then the majority of US cannabis products will come from farms in Iowa.

I agree for the most part but there will always be a niche market for people like me that prefer quality flower. It's not the best analogy but the existence of high proof liquor and mass produced lager hasn't killed off the craft beer market. To the contrary, actually.

I think it's time that the USA just go ahead and use B-52s to drop weed on the entire population.

I would feel a lot better about the taxes I'm paying.

Except all of these vaping deaths are coming from counterfeit vape carts. Juul is catching heck for it but I bet anything most of these fakes are connected to Mexico.
