Is the border fence literally on the border, completely in the US, or completely in Mexico?

seems to me that the border is primarily a river (ditch, if you are from the south), so it can't be directly in the middle of the river...

I was in southern AZ for work last week, and I didn't have much time but was able to drive to the border to check it out. That son of a bitch is strong, tall, and looked new. What's the problem? Tunnels? Does this fence go all the way from the Gulf to the Pacific? If not, what's the point in having any fence anywhere if the whole border isn't sealed off?

The newly installed one is see-through. I could hear a lot of noise across the fence. I think there are a lot of bars and restaurants on the other side. This shite felt so real once I saw it in person.

Well, in Texas the border is the Rio Grande river, so they built the fence on the side of the river and not in the middle of it...does that answer your question?

Sometimes you embrace your Hispanic heritage then at other times you deny it. Get off the fence

The entire border is not fenced. Some places have no fence at all. The fence is on the US side.

The fence is several yards inside the US. When you go to a Port of Entry, just south of it is a huge yellow line painted on the concrete. That is the actual border. Out in the desert are concrete Boundary Markers that are on the actual line.

At Brownsville the fence is on the Mexican side of the river.

And there isn't a fence along the vast majority of the border.
