What’s even worse is that they expect decent black folk to just side with their bullshite since they’ve appointed themselves the arbiter of what black folks should and shouldn’t do.

It’s a shame that the “civic leaders” of BR peddle more division and angst than anyone else. Toe their lines or become a target. Sounds very similar to what Gravy spews on his pages as hate, yet it’s ok if it supports his agenda.

Draggin, SG opponents warn us about politicians stealing our tax dollars if we become a new city. They recommend the status quo.
Well I'll take my chances and keep some of my tax dollars out of the hands of these racist politicians like Banks. We can't do worse.
We just need to work within the system and do all we can to improve our part of the parish to insure that it grows faster than their part of the parish.
They are better together with out money, but we aren't better with them. We are getting the shaft.
