What they should do is support:
1) Undoing the consolidated government
2) Have a BR City Council, which they and their buddies would likely control
3) Let St George do their thing
But they won't do that... because they need the money from outside BR city limits.

The issue is that the 4 council members want the governor to appoint a far left wing person to represent a right wing district. This is like the president appointing a republican congressman to represent the San Francisco district.
