For her, you need to get help. Your daughter deserves for you to be there. If not for yourself, fight for her. Don’t let her grow up short a parent. Get help, now.

Please get help now! I’m praying for you also.

CS Lewis said,
You can’t go back and change the beginning but you can start where you are and change the ending.

The thing that scares me more than anything is something happening to me and my children having to grow up without a father. They NEED you and don’t care what mistakes you make, as long as you take care of them and protect them. Be there for your children and make a difference! God bless you!.

We love you andersBlake! Just sitting here reading all of this and weeping. Things will get better for you I pray....you already have the most important thing in life, the love of family. Please take a step tomorrow and consult with someone who can help you see things more clearly!

I’ll spare you the story of my last 2.5 years. Just hear me on this: you will bounce back stronger having been through this. Granted, grass isn’t always greener, might have to crawl through some mud, but - there is grass.

Where are you... I have been down the path before without assets like a dog, a wife, children etc... It was side effects of a medicine I was taking to control epilepsy but I loaded a gun and chambered a round a couple of times. It is a cop out... take a Step back. There is so much beauty in life. Music, crawfish boils, grilling, camping. Your comfort zone has clearly become toxic. Find a new avenue for you to grow personally. There is nothing wrong with looking out for yourself. Sometimes you need to put your self being first above everything else. It isn't a selfish act. It is an act of preservation and by doing so you are able to make everyone and everything around you better. Keep your head up. One day at a time. Get off the internet and talk to real people.

Listen, life is a puncher. And yeah, this past round was rough. It threw haymakers, gut jabs. It had you up against the ropes, bloodied you up, knocked you down.

But listen to me, I’m in your corner, and I’m telling you to GET UP! They might have beat you down but they ain’t beat you yet.
You hear all the voices in this thread screaming for you? Tonight they are your fans, and they all want you to get up.

So tonight, you are gonna summon all you’ve got, Because the fight Ain’t over . You can do it. You spit the blood out, grit your teeth, and get up off the mat.
And you look life square in its ugly mug and say.

Life is hard sometimes for sure. It’s cliche but it will get better. Call a hotline or reach out to any of these dudes. There are good people on here for sure. You will be in my prayers

If you are in the 901 shoot me a DM... I feel sure you are a little more local to a location in LA but if you find yourself in the Memphis area let me know.

I’m not the most overtly religious person. But talking to Jesus does help. He is there.

I don't often come right out and say it, but I was a police officer for over a decade. I recently gave up that honor in pursuit of a better life for my family and myself.

Now and even when I was in the midst of the job, it wasn't the cases I solved, the people I helped or anything positive that resonated in my memory.

It was the people I DIDNT get a chance to help. The death and cries of family members on a scene.

Suicides were the worst. Whats left after someone makes that decision are family members blaming themselves, friends wondering why they didn't see the warning signs and kids playing, often too young to realize the gravity of how that moment would impact them later in life.

I don't believe anyone can be "guilt tripped" into not ending their own lives, however. The pain they feel at the time of their demise is so intense that any comparison to the hardship that will by experienced by others is a non factor.

What I would encourage you to do is to imagine how much better your life is able to get from the low point you are now. Face it, you are truly at rock bottom when considering ending it all. The ONLY way is up.

Will it be easy? No. Anyone that says different is a liar. But, it will be REWARDING. Knowing you stared into the abyss, conquered it and climbed to greater heights will make you a better man, father or any other title you have.

With all that said, come back to the OT if you need. We're a bunch of raging assholes most of the time, but I think you can see from the previous responses that a true cry for help will not go unanswered.

Please reach out bro. If you are worried about Christmas I’ve already been contacted by others wanting to help. We’ve all been in a tight spot and if it will help, the sumbitchin bastards here will show their true colors, so don’t worry about that.

You need to talk there’s dozens on here who will talk to you, give perspective or just listen. Reach out, you aren’t in this alone, at all.

Let us help you, because when we were down in our dark places, a lot of us found that this place, den of iniquity that it may be, was full of those who were willing to help us out. Who’d Been there, and made it through.

We know shite because we’ve seen shite and been in the shite and gotten through the shite. Lean on us. Please.

Would you be willing to share some specifics about where you are located? This place is legit for being able to put feet on the ground to get folks tangible immediate help when needed.

Don’t give up! You matter! Your daughter needs you in her life!
