Not ankle over knee, but thigh over thigh. Extremely uncomfortable for me, yet I see old timers do it all the time. Why?

On oldies, their balls hang so low that it's not uncomfortable for them.

Not an oldtimer yet- but:
a) sometimes it is more comfortable
b) usually more considerate to those you are seated next to
C) some men don't give a frick what other people think of their individual posture and positioning as long as it's not rude to others.

When you're old and don't have a boner all the time, you can cross your legs pretty much however you want.

I cross my legs when I sit down to pee.

I'm double jointed, so knee over knee is much more comfortable. Can't do ankle over knee without heavy force.

Aren't insecure about what others think... unlike you

Far from a millennial here, but just asking about the comfort of it. Courtesy to people adjacent makes perfect sense, I just can't do it.

When I sit with ankle on knee it hurts my knee that is in the air. I have long legs so it also looks a little awkward for me to sit like that. Sitting with my legs crossed is more comfortable for me and because of that I don't give a shite what people next to me think. I'm not going to be uncomfortable at the expense of someone else un less I know/like you.

I just wonder who actually gives a frick enough about how other men sit that they need to run to a message board to ask...

Crossing your legs with ankle on knee can often indicate defiance or close mindedness to what is being discussed per body language science.
