Now I don’t think you should be yelling at your partner, but this is not the equality we were told about.
There was a thread already on this. Even brave suggest couple counseling if the wife yells, and seek out domestic violence resources if the husband yells.
And this isn’t really ai doing this, but feminism. Now the women just have to say you yelled at her for there to be abuse. No evidence necessary.
And see how that would work in their favor? People like you exist that probably believe words are violence.

Well. Men and women are different. Someone who yells often with anger management can lead to violence.
A man who commits violence against a woman can cause much harm, and could very easily kill her.
A woman who commits violence against a man, won't get very far. Unless the guy is just a total wuss.

Yelling itself is not abuse. But it can often lead to abuse. Especially if you are yelling in a way to purposely intimidate and scare someone much smaller than you.

If you're a grown arse adult and the only way you can communicate your disagreement in a relationship is to yell at each other than you both need some help. And yes, some folks need couple's counseling to address that.

Just wondering; are men allowed to yell when it’s in the interest of said woman? Like say when he’s defending her ? Because I’m pretty sure ALL male behavior is acceptable when in the interests of a particular woman and ANY male behavior is unacceptable when it’s not in the interest of a particular woman.

Yelling is the only way my mother ever spoke to any of us growing up. Pretty sure she doesn't have a calm voice. Sucks for us, but it's funny as hell when you go anywhere with her. People look at her like they know the white suit guys are on their way and she stands there as if everyone else is the a-hole. The idea that she is the a-hole never enters her mind
