Yep. Same reason I don’t wear condoms, makes me feel negative emotions.

Masks keep sick people from spreading the virus to other people. I don’t have the virus so I don’t wear a mask.

I don’t wear it because it’s bullshite. It is bullshite. And “they” correctly told us it was bullshite at the beginning. Yet now unfortunately here we are 2 months later with the majority thinking it’s proper and decent and unselfish.

Wearing a mask as most do is much worse overall unless you wear it properly. At least half of people I see wear them in public and grocery stores have them down on their neck or their nose sticking up over top. I’ve witnessed numerous (countless) people touch their masks in stores (whether uncomfortable or nuisance or think they’re clean and safe). These masks certainly aren’t all reusable and washable. I’d doubt less than half of those sanitize their masks correctly or dispose of properly....

So now here we are left with majority of masks wearers with a legit Petri dish on their faces,,, touching the masks with their hands and then touching bread, milk, eggs, boxes, cartons and all the fruits and vegetables and refrigerator door handles , etc.

I can’t believe this is where we are ... smdfh

All wearing a mask does is stop droplets from a cough or sneeze. Don’t be an a-hole, and cough or sneeze into your shirt sleeve or shoulder. A mask does nothing to stop you from breathing in viral particles, unless it’s an N95 or better.

So unlike what most on here claim, men do care what people think.

I don’t wear a mask because I’m strong. I also think it looks dumb.

That's just not true for anyone correctly wearing a mask. Sure there are people out there incorrectly wearing masks. However, the virus is mainly transmitted by droplets from someone's cough or sneeze. Masks can't offer 100% protection, but it doesn't take a genius to realize that me coughing into a mask will release less droplets into the air than if I wasn't wearing a mask. I know that the mask won't catch everything unless I'm wearing a respirator. And if you are wearing a mask, you are certainly less likely to inhale my respiratory droplets.

quote:

I saw a cashier at Sprouts grab his mask and move it up as I walked up, then after he handed me the receipt he pulled the mask down. He must touch that mask 100 times a day.

I think we can all agree that this guy is an idiot.
quote:

Say he touches a food item with COVID then touches his mask, he keeps infecting new items all day as he touches his mask.

Surface transmission is certainly possible, but it isn't likely to spread very much like you are describing. Someone that has the virus would have to cough or sneeze on that food item then it's more likely that the cashier's infecting himself than repeatedly spreading it onto everything he touches. The virus isn't going to last very long going from coughed-on surface(food item) to cashier's hand to cashier's mask back to cashier's hand to grocery item surface to the shopper's hand to the shopper's face. Surface transmission is more likely to happen from grabbing a dirty door handle and then directly touching your face.

So then don’t go in public places if you are coughing or sneezing, you moron . “It doesn’t take a genius to realize that”

If you happen to have a random sneeze happen , then just pull your shirt over your face and sneeze or cough. Same as a phoney mask. Don’t be a moron

Me not wearing a mask puts you at greater risk of catching the virus

You being fat AF puts you at greater risk from dying from it once I give it to you

With this knowledge, there’s still unprecedented lines at fast food restaurants

You first, fatties

GFY

(Not you OP, just stating my argument since the mask thing started and watching, in amazement, people line up 40 cars deep at Canes)
